Serious Games

Serious games are games that, in addition to entertaining, seek to transmit contents, values, enhance skills and competencies. They can be used as a teaching resource to advance towards achieving certain goals, such as, personal autonomy in decision-making. Its philosophy comes from "gamification", using the recreational potential of people as the focus on which channel the content and objectives to be achieved. In recent times, there is a rising debate about the use of these technologies for formal learning processes, through a support to guide the learning process.
