Jaume Bantulá
PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences at the University of Barcelona. He has been associate professor in the University of Barcelona in the Department of Teacher Training in Education in Music and Physical Theatre (1994-2003). Since 2001, he has been working as a professor in Blaquerna Department of Psychology, Education and Sport Sciences (FPCEE) in the Ramon Llull University (URL. Barcelona). Currently, he is a professor at URL of Theory and Practice of the different manifestations of the game, and director of the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. He is a member of Group de Recerca en Innovació, Esport i Societat (GRIES), a consolidated and recognized research group by the Government of Catalonia (2009 SGR 796); member of the Spanish Association of Social Research Applied to Sports (AEISAD); of Child’s Play Observatory (OJI) and of the Advisory Council of the journal Aloma of the FPCEE at the URL. He has specialized in the study of the game, leisure and amusement. He has published several books and articles; and he has taught in degrees, postgraduate studies, and master’s degrees, as well as in diverse training courses at both national and international levels.
