Salvados: A matter of education
The journalist Jordi Évole and his team travel to Finland to see first-hand how the day-to-day is in a Finnish school. School organization, its spaces and architecture, material and human resources, school culture, community outreach ... and all other aspects that determine that an educational system is so well placed in the rankings of educational quality. PISA report is one of its top allies.
In the program they interviewed teachers, parents and members of the educational community of Spain and Finland and is looking to perform a comparative analysis between both systems. It argues that, in Spain, the educational legislation varies according to the claims of the political party in government, reducing the educational system to a system of ideological and social reproduction. In contrast, the concept of education in Finland from politics, this is considered a matter of State in which parliamentary parties act in concert stands.
