Saint Andreu Jazz Band

It is a jazz band from Barcelona formed by young people between 9 and 19 years old and its director Joan Chamorro. Currently it has a staff of 29 musicians divided between sections of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, French horns, violins and rhythm base. In addition, other 16 musicians are part of the band collaborating sporadically. In 2009 they recorded their first CD-DVD, Jazzing: Live at Casa Fuster. A live show in which boys and girls share the stage with renowned musicians. Subsequently, new jobs would be published. You can take a look here. 2010 comes as the year of consolidation, acting in more than 20 occasions at festivals and prestigious stages and collaborating with important figures in the world of jazz like Ken Peplowski, Bobby Gordon and Ignasi Terraza among others. Currently, its main activity takes place in Barcelona acting frequently at festivals in the city.
