Some of the countries that have joined in this celebration: Spain, France, Portugal, Canada, Belgium, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, Switzerland... Its objectives are to enforce that playtime should be regarded as: A right recognized by the Convention on the Rights of the Child A tool for building a better society through their creative and emotional potential. A necessity throughout life. It is proposed as the date for the meeting on 28 May and is celebrated every year on the weekend closest to that date.
